ChildBirth Education

Learn everything you need to know to feel prepared and ready to give birth to your baby.

So that when you go through this experience, you feel calm, empowered and ready to bring your baby into this world.

You want to be prepared and ready for this experience, but you are thinking “I have no idea where to start…”

You know you need to prepare for birth, but what is the best way to actually do that?

Labor feels like a giant mystery. You’ve heard a million different stories, but none of them give you a clear picture of what to actually expect. You don’t want to go in blind—you want to feel confident and ready.

How will you manage to stay grounded and make clear decisions during the chaos of labor?

You want to learn mindset and breathing techniques that will help you stay grounded throughout the process, so that when the time comes you know how to manage contractions, stay calm, and feel in control.

What if you have to make a big medical decision at the moment?

You don’t want to be caught off guard, pressured into something you’re unsure about. Epidural? Induction? C-section? You want to understand your options before labor starts so you can make the right choices for you and your baby.

Step into birth feeling ready, informed, and in control.

✓ Understand exactly what happens during labor. From the first contraction to the final push, you’ll know what to expect at each stage so nothing catches you off guard.

✓ Learn how to manage pain, medicated or unmedicated. Whether you want an epidural or prefer natural pain relief, you’ll have proven techniques to handle contractions with confidence.

✓ Practice hands-on comfort techniques. You and your birth partner will learn breathing strategies, labor positions, and counterpressure methods that actually work.

✓ Know when it’s time to go to the hospital or call your midwife. No more guessing if it’s “real labor” or wondering when to make the move.

✓ Create a birth plan that adapts to real-life scenarios. Instead of a rigid plan that falls apart under pressure, you’ll craft a flexible guide that keeps you in control no matter what happens.

✓ Make sure your husband knows exactly how to support you. They won’t just stand there nervously—they’ll know how to advocate for you, keep you calm, and help you through labor.

✓ Feel calm and ready for the birth you want. With the right knowledge and preparation, you’ll enter labor with confidence—not fear.

“When I say I have zero regrets about my birthing experience it is due to both the education I invested in as well as hiring a doula which was encouraged in the education course. I felt that not only did this course cover the basics it also covered topics I had never heard of or thought would come up in childbirth! Lauren’s course is extremely detailed and well-presented. Each topic is very clearly laid out with so much attention to detail and small nuances in order to answer every question one might have. I truly felt that after taking her course I was equipped for a smooth labor with the right tools.”

Yes, definitely! Spouses and other support people are encouraged to watch the classes so they can be empowered to support you. Tips for support people are included throughout the course. Watching also helps them learn accurate information as well as to address any fears, misconceptions, and concerns.

If you have questions on what you learned, there are a couple of options. At any time, you can opt to setup a private call with me. You can join solo or together with your spouse/support team. In addition, a few times a year the (super fun) Hybrid class is offered which combines the online course with live group Q&A on Zoom and a private WhatsApp group. I will announce via e-mail and social when a new group is starting and you can choose to join at that time if you’d like to!

This course prepares you for more than just labor. You’ll learn how to navigate the hospital system, advocate for your needs, and feel confident at every stage of birth. It’s practical, clear, and grounded in the belief that birth is one of the most meaningful moments in life.
This course is still 100% for you. There’s still a lot more to know about the birth process to ensure you have an easy birth. This course does dive into positioning and pushing techniques specifically for people with an epidural, if that is what you are choosing.
Definitely. Many people take this course because they want a different experience the second time around. Maybe you didn’t take a class before or wish you had more support the first time. Even if you’ve given birth before, you’ve only lived one version of it, this course helps you prepare for a wider range of possibilities so you can feel more informed, confident, and in control.

“I really enjoyed every minute of the classes, and I learned so much! I loved the format of having everything online, and I feel like the live zoom calls ended up being so much more productive since we all watched to video beforehand… I also found that the classes weren’t too drawn out, but we still covered everything I wanted to hear more about it. I really appreciated that we explored both medicated and unmedicated births from an unbiased perspective.”
