What I Do
PERSONALIZED CHILDBIRTH EDUCATION CLASSES
Hosted in a comfortable setting, we will explore the exciting journey of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. A private or semi-private class allows us to specifically address the topics that are most important to you, and to tailor the content to reflect your goals and preferences. I offer private classes with one couple and semi-private classes for 2 or more couples that are due around the same time. A few times a year, I offer small group classes.
PREPARE FOR PREGNANCY, BIRTH, AND POSTPARTUM
In the class, we will discuss:
- The miraculous pregnant body
- Signs and stages of labor
- Comfort measures for labor
- Medical interventions during labor
- The immediate postpartum period
- Adjustment to new parenthood
Class Structure
My signature comprehensive childbirth education class includes 5-6 hours of class time together, typically broken down into 3 sessions. The class is packed with information, and this structure enables expecting parents to integrate the information most effectively by avoiding information overload! Additionally, the time allotted allows ample time for questions and discussion. However, if you are short on time, an express class could be right for you. See "Class Options" for more information!
